I’m not going to lie. I love me some albums. And these little dudes are fantastic replicas of your gorgeous session album! They are made with leather (Lots of color choices BTW), and have the same stunning lay-flat pages as the full sized albums. Plus they come with beautiful dust covers. Perfect for keeping them safe in your purse. They now come as a set of two, which means they make great gifts to grandmas.

Spring Mini Sessions are here again! Can you believe that spring is here already? The trees are starting to blossom, the grass is turning green… It’s one of my favorite times of year. I’m so guilty of not having enough photos with me and my kids. I am always behind the camera, and I know a lot of parents who feel the same way. I also know how deeply I cherish pictures of my with my mom and my daddy, and I need to be better about getting pictures with my babies so they have special pictures when they become adults.
Mini sessions are a fantastic way to try out custom photography for the first time, and the session makes a great Mother’s Day gift (hint, hint, hint, Daddies!) These sessions book up pretty quickly, and we are only offering 10 this year- so please contact me ASAP to reserve your spot. These sessions will be held in the greater Denver area, exact details of our location will be sent in an email upon booking.

Another amazing year has FLOWN by for us (I just realized last week that it was our second birthday- holy smokes that went fast!) and we are celebrating by giving away some fun goodies for my fellow photographers and my amazing clients!

Believe it or not… It is time to start thinking about Holiday cards and family portraits for Christmas gifts! Spaces fill quickly as there are a limited number of sessions per day. These sessions make great gifts! Every session comes with a present- but I can’t tell you what because it’s Christmas for goodness sakes!
IMPORTANT REMINDER a 30 min petite session provides 8-12 fully edited proofs in your own private online gallery within two weeks from the session.

I got one of the beautiful necklaces in today! It is way too sweet- and I am so excited about it! They may be making their way to Brink Street permanently. The Mother’s day Mini Session necklaces will have a beautiful snake or beaded chain and the option of a square or round pendant. I can’t wait!

Mother’s Day is approaching fast- have you thought about a gift to say “Thank You” yet? For me, there couldn’t be a better gift than jewelry and images of my children wrapped into one. This year you could give (or be given!) just that. On April 25th 2010 we will be holding mini family sessions- location to be officially announced. I am so very excited that spring is coming- and by the time that April 25th rolls around we will have some gorgeous flowers and green grass, the trees will be blossoming, and the air will be warm. Perfect for outdoor sessions with your beautiful family.

Ever thought it would be fun to send your kiddo to school with custom Valentines? Something other than the ordinary “Barbie” or “Spiderman” cards? Here is your chance to send them with something that none of the other kids have- a picture of them… and candy is included!
For $65, your child gets a 20 minute mini session with 5-10 proofs to choose from, 25 custom valentines (Candy included!), and 1-5×7 of your favorite image from the session! Sessions will be held at a fun outdoor location on Saturday, January 30th. All products will be delivered by February 10th.

First and foremost, I want to say THANK YOU to all of my clients who made my first year in business so absolutely wonderful. You allow me to have the best job in the world, and I am thankful for each and every one of you. Each of your sessions have enriched my life and I am blessed to know you. I look forward to seeing everyone this year!
Choosing is never easy for me- I love so much each and every one of the images, and to pick my favorites took a lot longer than I expected. These are the photos that speak most to me.
Now for the fun part! The photograph with the most votes by Midnight on Sunday, January 31st, wins a gorgeous 11×14″ canvas gallery wrap of the winning image, as well as a $150 credit towards their next session! So if your image is in this selection, spread the word! Votes are monitored by I.P. address, so only 1 vote per household. The photo in second place will receive an 11×14″ print ready to be framed.
There is also a fabulous goodie for all my voters as well! It’s a blog! I am so excited to present to you the all new Brink Street Photography blog. Here you will find sneak previews of recent sessions, new products, special events, and many many other fun and exciting things that we just couldn’t present on the flash website! It will be a continual work in progress, adding new features as Brink Street grows. I hope that you continue to join us!
So lets get started by introducing my family (my most captured “subjects”!)
This is me, Kim… and that little bump is our soon to arrive 3rd kiddo. She will be here before we know it and can’t wait to meet her. I can assure you that you will see plenty of her here on the blog just as soon as she arrives.
I am blessed with the most amazing family in the whole world. I have a best friend and husband all rolled into one- which is fantastic because we can talk for hours, be complete goofballs (something we are exceedingly good at), but we get to hold hands and snuggle too! Doesn’t get much better than that. Plus he’s really really good looking….
We take care of my lovely grandmother, a wonderful addition to our lives. She is 86 and my kids are nuts about her. She is a loving and gentle soul and we are so happy that we get to share this time of her life with her.
And then there are my babies… God lent them to me for a little while, and I promised to enjoy them to the fullest! My oldest daughter will be 4 in January, and my son will be 2 in January. Yes, they will all have birthdays within 2 weeks of Christmas. Go us for timing! They are the most amazing kids- little balls of energy. They are the truest photographer’s children- simply meaning they see the camera and RUN! You’d be amazed what we have to do to get their pictures. I admit it, I’m not against a tiny bit of bribery.
And of course, we cannot forget our oldest, our sweet doggy daughter- the one who loves all of us with everything she has, tolerates the kids clambering on her, and gets WAY too many table scraps.
