Watching families fall in love is the best part about my job. If you have had kids, you know the feeling of having your first baby come home with you. Your family is redefined. You know real, true, intensely protective love for the first time. It’s beautiful to witness.

I’m still here! Brink Street Photography is still alive and kicking (and still booking!)

Oye. Time flies when you’re having fun, right? I can’t believe how I’ve neglected my poor blog. We’ve had a very very busy beginning of the year. We are expecting #4 any day now. I’m 38 weeks today. That’s me and out little one up there!

Our family (the whole big family) made the decision after several difficult months and a lot of praying that it was time to move my grandmother (the one who lived with us) to a nursing home. Her needs were becoming greater than we could offer on our own, and we want her safety to be the first priority. She moved last month and is settling in beautifully. We miss having her in the day to day, but we get to go see her a few times a week. Talk about a lot of change, right? We also bought a van to fit the new size of our crew, and will be moving before the end of the summer. Don’t worry though! We will still be in the Denver area.

I have a TON of sessions to share with you- and then before we know it I will be gushing over our new arrival. I can’t wait to dive into sharing images. Posts will be coming up every few days.

Years go too fast. I really feel like I just did Mister Carter’s newborn photos just a few days ago, and here he is One year old! Aren’t his little eyes stunning??

Braxton will be a hard core Broncos fan. His nursery is Broncos, and his Mommy and Daddy haven’t missed a home game in years until he came along. He’s even been to a game already and has rockin’ headphones to protect his little ears. I can’t wait to watch him grow.

I can never get enough of my baby planners. I’ve seen Ilias every few months since he was born last January. Isn’t he one of the prettiest babies you’ve ever seen? I just love his personality- and his family. He was fascinated by the leaves- and we found a few nearly as big as he was! It was so much fun to see him pulling up and moving around- at our last session he hadn’t quiet started to sit up yet.

I can’t wait for our First Birthday session!

I haven’t gotten to see many newborn girls in the last year, so each one is a treat. Avery was a little angel for me! I could tell her mommy and daddy were just nuts about her. I’m pretty crazy about her too!

Epic Blogging Fail | Denver Family Photographer

WOW… November and December have been a whirlwind. I completely neglected my poor little blog. We’ve had lots of private galleries this year, meaning people would prefer to keep their images private. TOtally fine with me, but I don’t get to show off much.

We had a wonderful and quiet Christmas this year. Oh- and have I mentioned we are expecting? Due in May! We are so very thrilled- love those little babies.

Here are some pictures of my kids skating for the first time- it was so much fun to watch them on the ice with my husband and my mom.

I’ll just say… we laughed a lot at this session. We always have a great time with these guys- they have 5 kids, we want 4 or 5 kids, they homeschool, we homeschool, they like wine, we like wine…. Like I said, we have a great time together. Plus I just adore them. And they are one of the most gorgeous families ever.

I love my baby plan babies. They grow too fast though. And I want to keep them all- especially when they think I’m their buddy! (And when they dress like a way cute monkey)
